To Tell My Story as Cult Survivor

10 Mar To Tell My Story as Cult Survivor

My wish is this: To inspire others into a life of freedom & recovery from abuse and neglect. I am working to sing and tour nationwide with my book about my life of growing up in a cult.

“From Cult To Country” (how I got out)

As a kid I grew up the oldest of 9 kids 5 sisters & 3 brothers. My father during his college years got pulled into a cult disguised as a church of 1200-2000 people that met in wearhouse out in Cornfield in Kosiosco Co. Indiana.

I want to tell me my story:

Never celebrated birthdays or holidays

Experienced a lot of emotional repression and oppression.

Suffered Medical Neglect with 3 day episodes of severe asthma.

I saw my 6mnth old brother pass away from meningitis at 14 I saw him die right in front of me.

We were taken from our parents and my grandmother became our guardian as our parents were prosecuted and not allowed to be our caretakers.

This pattern of abuse continued into my adult life I married a verbally physically and emotionally abusive woman who ultimately divorced me.

In 2009 I had to find healing & recovery and discover my own personal value and begin to live a healthy life.

I barely escaped death in 2006 during a house fire. I have also been homeless 3 times as early as 2015 since moving to Nashville Tenn as a Country singer/ Singwriter Banjo piano and guitar player.

My wish is to tell my story of how I found hope and redemption.
