To be heard with a Vlog.

07 Nov To be heard with a Vlog.

I would love nothing more than to use my voice to change lives. From child abuse to addiction and everything in between, I have a lot to say and I believe I can help others with these lessons learned throughout my life.

In May of 2014 my fiancé and I moved from our “underprivileged” lives to NYC to follow our dreams. I was escaping 10 years of abuse hoping to find the life I’ve always dreamt of.

I’m a creative, so I started to vlog on YouTube. Mainly as a creative outlet to distract and heal, but with the goal in mind to use this platform to change lives. I wish I knew that my voice IS being heard and that I AM able to make a difference in the world.

Giving someone even a SLIVER of hope would make my dreams come true. Fellow vloggers were what kept me sane and strong throughout those 10 years as I always knew and hoped it IS possible to live a safe and happy life. All I needed was that hope and hope is all I’m able to give. But that is enough. Hope can instill faith and belief that anything is possible. 💙

Kasey, suffering can either often break us up, or break us down, you have clearly broken upwards! In other words, you now have a desire, through your wisdom gained, to help others in suffering and pain. This is beautiful goal. I had the same when I began Live Your Now, and indeed it’s inspiring when you see others take flight who had forgotten they had wings! Begin your vlog, post links around (especially in blogs like this etc, make sure people know where you are/how to find you!) – you will find your tribe, your core who will help share your inspiring message of support & hope!!

You are already doing, by the vlog, posting here etc, read blogs on how to get more attention on your media, comment on other blogs, engage with people on Twitter, find suitable hashtags for people who’ve experienced similar things and seek them out – begin conversations.

Yes, it can be hard work to get the momentum going, and requires attention and work, just as Simonetta has done here.

Remember, the Wish Wall itself was once but a thought in a mind, a beautiful mind, who then went on to inspire so many, including me!!

The more of us out there, helping others, spreading support, sharing experience, putting more love out there the better!!

Kasey, I wish you every success in your venture, and if you’re on Twitter hit me up @LiveYourNow and I will share your Vlog link!!

    Keep on keeping on!!

Richie – The Wizard of Om.
