Save Women & Girls from Porn Harms & Exploitation

10 Mar Save Women & Girls from Porn Harms & Exploitation

Hello everyone! AntiPornography.org is a nonreligious, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization. We work to prevent and combat the devastating harms of pornography, prostitution, sex trafficking and sexual slavery, as well as all other forms of sexual exploitation and abuse, through public education and advocacy.

We are against pornography because it degrades love, sex, women, girls, and all humanity, including boys and men. Pornography also frequently glorifies and promotes sadism, masochism, rape, incest, pedophilia, and abuse of and violence against women in general. Additionally it harms performers, relationships, marriages, families, children, the economy, and creates demand for illegal and underaged prostitution, as well as international sex trafficking and slavery of vulnerable women and children.

In the United States, which has a population of more than 300,000 million people, there are only two, small, secular or feminist nonprofit organizations who are currently fighting porn harms — because this is such a difficult cause to take on. We are one of them, and we are the only one that helps porn industry survivors and gives them a voice.

Here are the stories of a few women we’ve helped, who experienced horrific abuse in the cruel and exploitative porn industry:

JESSICA:

VANESSA:

CAMERON:

MARIANNA:

We want to be able to continue to help many more women like Jessica, Cameron, Vanessa and Marianna, and to prevent others from entering porn or the sex industry in the first place. But we are currently a not-yet-funded organization run solely by a few, dedicated, and very overworked volunteers, and won’t be able to go on without raising significant funding in the next few months.

In the past, Women Against Pornography in the U.S. had to shut down because of lack of funding. The same happened to Campaign Against Pornography in the UK. Just last month the only faith-based organization in the United States devoted exclusively helping women transition out of porn also shut down. We don’t want this to happen to our organization as well.

So we ask everyone who cares about ending the exploitation and abuse of women and girls to please help us continue to help others. You can make a single donation of any amount, or you can set up automated monthly donations. We would also be very grateful for qualified volunteers, or referrals to any possible sources of major funding, (foundations or individuals), or referrals of them to us.

Thanks if you can contribute in any way! We and all the women and girls that we help really appreciate it, and it really does make a difference! πŸ™‚

I’ve just listened to Jessie and shed a few tears. I know that horrible feeling. Is there anyway Jessie could comment on here too? Thank you for helping us women and girls. These sick entities are mentally, emotionally and physically raping us through the normalisation of the sex industry and its promises of money. I’m very sorry that Jessie went through this. We need as much voice of experience backing this. You are so damn brave Jessie. No one can say that at nineteen we can make informed choices relating to our whole lived ruined from being filmed sexually. How dare these perverts get away with this. The great people at AntiPornography need funding. Jessie is a testament to their hard work. If u have daughters you should really want to protect them from the pervasive nature of this poisonous phenomenon. At the very least you should want your son’s to treat women like humans not as meat.
I donate to these guys because I know the severity of this cause and the life long damage it does. There are no winners here.
    Please help keep AntiPornography going.
    Thanks
    Vikki

Thank you so much for your very kind and thoughtful feedback, Vikki! πŸ™‚ And of course we are also extremely grateful for all of your ongoing support, and your very generous donations to help our organization be able to do more good work to help others.

We’re glad that you watched Jessica’s video about how doing porn harmed her, and we hope everyone else watches it too, and checks out the other stories of porn survivors linked to above.

Thanks also for all of your own vitally important work for the cause! You’re very brave and are doing a great job. πŸ™‚
