24 May Pray for Manchester
My heart goes out to the kids and parents who had to go through the unfortunate events that occurred in Manchester Monday night. The phrase, “a parent should never have to bury their child” rings true now more than ever.
Many concert goers were teens. Many of whom were going with friends and not accompanied by adults. It brings sadness to my heart just thinking about the parents who have lost their children.
To see all the citizens of Manchester step up and offer their services to people in need free of charge, just out of the goodness of their heart, made me deeply emotional. To see taxi drivers turning off their meter, to see hotels nearby open up their rooms, random citizens donating their blood…I saw how resilient we are as loving beings.
My wish for this week is for everyone to take note of these ordinary citizens doing something extraordinary. Thank you all who have and continue to help.
Peace and Love,
