Happy Valentine’s Day to one and all! Last week I wished that everyone would love themselves before loving their partner.


So I’d like to share a few things I did in case you did some of the same things for yourself:


First thing I did every morning was stretch and meditate. That fifteen minute stretch helped to get my body ready for the day while the five minute meditation helped to get my mind ready for the day. As I went out in the world I remembered to keep a smile on my face. I found myself writing lots of poetry as well. I captured my feelings on paper and the negative thoughts disappeared. Every night I finished with a walk or a bike ride. I made sure to stop and smell the flowers along the way. Lastly I treated myself to a massage. Spending a little money on myself to feel physically better was worth it.


My wish is for you to never stop loving yourself. You are a temple and you should treat yourself right! Do what feels right and positive solutions will follow.
