My elvislaskin apparel to be a world wide brand

17 Jun My elvislaskin apparel to be a world wide brand

I have an apparel line named elvislaskin, after my boy kitty Elvis.

My apparel is printed from my own copyrighted paintings.

It makes me very happy to paint, it is one of my favorite things to do, it is a passion of mine. I have been painting since I was a child.

I would like my apparel line to become a world wide brand so that I can then use my artwork on many other products…I would like to cover the world with my passion, my paintings.

I am intending on being Martha Stewart 2nd. It will make me immensely happy because I have big plans to help animals with my proceeds.

I already donate a portion of my proceeds to help animals, and my kitty is like my child.

Please help me with a wish I have had for most of my life!

I have been following elvislaskin when I first bought the tees at Fred Segal in LA 5 years ago. I have been collecting elvislaskin tees and have about 15 different pieces that I call apparel art. Her abstract pieces are so cool that I get stopped almost everytime I have one on, with people asking me where I got my tee. They are super silky, and I love them because they are not like any other tees out many black tees does a girl need?!
The hangtag says that that the tees are named after Elvis Laskin, an orange tabby kitty, and that she gives to animal charities, and that is important to me because I am also an animal lover. I am not an artist, and do not paint, but can appreciate talent when I see it. I love the creativity that makes these t-shirts special to me.
I have bought them around the country because I travel a lot. I think it would be cool to see her art on other products…that is a cool goal. I think being an entrepreneur is a great goal, and I hope to see all she can create in the future.

I am a fellow designer and my line was in the fashion show that Melissa produced in Los Angeles in May of this year. I love Melissa’s work and the translation onto her t’s is amazing! Being a fellow designer, I know how much work it takes to launch a brand. Melissa is super talented and i have a few of her tees! Wearing her t’s is like wearing art because Melissa first painted her artwork (which is copywrited by the way!) and then put the art on her t’s. Check her out!

Elvislaskin has developed a cult following in my store. My customers love her colorful and unique prints. Elvislaskin’s tees and dresses look amazing on everyone no matter how young or old. And the best part is that the clothes feel as great as they look. I am a huge personal fan too. Keep those designs coming! Good luck Melissa!
