28 Dec Looking Ahead in Hope
“Remember Red, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.”
~Andy Dufresne: [in letter to Red] “The Shawshank Redemption” (based on Rita Hayworth and Shawshank Redemption, a novella by Stephen King, from his 1982 collection Different Seasons, subtitled Hope Springs Eternal).
As we wrap 2017, I am grateful for your support, comments and news of more blogs, books and You Tube channels that are springing to life!
This week, we’ll pause for perspective and ground ourselves in hope. Stephen King has been a best-selling author for 40 years and continues to grab our attention with creations such as “IT” which hit theaters last September.
I recently read Stephen’s answer to “where do you get your ideas?”
“I get my ideas from everywhere. But what all of my ideas boil down to is seeing maybe one thing, but in a lot of cases it’s seeing two things and having them come together in some new and interesting way, and then adding the question ‘What if?’ ‘What if’ is always the key question.”
As you get ready to celebrate the arrival of 2018, keep perspective in mind and jot down a few ideas as they come to you.
Congrats on your progress and make time to celebrate success!
Here are a few more light things to celebrate with #RRBC authors that continue to inspire.

Cheers to bright horizons!
