21 Feb Keep Our Kids Safe
The Parkland community has been grieving for a week now. As our hearts continue to heal, we can’t help but think this happens way to often in our country.
I can’t help but admire how the kids of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School have acted in the days after the shooting. They are articulate and poised although there are tons of cameras in their faces. I also praise the teachers at Marjory Stoneman Douglas, the parents and students who have a desire to create change. I know it’s cliche but these kids are our future leaders and we must protect them.
My wish this week is that we follow in these kids’ footsteps and speak up for change. We can listen to these kids and maybe (just maybe) we can finally see the kind of gun reform our country needs.
Peace and Love,
