We’re on our stress free – joy trigger holiday countdown, last week I spoke about the power of gratitude and this week my joy trigger is letting go of the pursuit of perfection.
Whether it’s having the perfectly decorated tree & home , perfect outfit or perfect body in your little black dress – before Halloween we were being told how to drop a dress size for Christmas…how about we buy the dress that fits now and live now instead of waiting?? Perfection doesn’t exist and striving for it only makes us feel like failures. Accept now as it is, look for the good, make changes if you need to but release yourself from the need for perfection as a gift to yourself. x
