Baby Josh (my fourth) has now been outside of my body for 9 months…as long out of it as he was in it.
I don’t enjoy the way my body feels during pregnancy or immediately after. I’m grateful for it but don’t feel right in it. Sort of awkward & uncomfortable.
I no longer feel like my value as a human being has anything to do with my size or weight but do feel more like “me” when my body looks and feels a certain way. Same as I feel more like me when my hair is shaved and my nails are done.

 

Plus now I really enjoy the journey, enjoy all foods without guilt and yes I exercise most weeks but if I don’t I’m ok with that.

 

My wish is for women to be able to know they are so much more than the number on a clothes tag or weighing scales, to be able to say goodbye to food guilt and if they want to change their external appearance in a way that brings joy.
