FE: One piece at a time

17 Jun FE: One piece at a time

We’re sending you positive energy piece by piece as we continue to re-open across the country. Last week Chicago re-opened safely aligned with CDC guidelines and lower pandemic numbers!
Whether you dove into binge-worthy shows, started sourdough, or explored your DIY side, we are all putting together the puzzle of “what comes next?” as a symbol that connects us.

I wish to take time to honor women-owned brands that emerged when it became obvious during the pandemic that the jigsaw puzzle industry needed disruption. Puzzle sales went sky-high, yet consumers were even more limited on their available options…and entrepreneurs started to notice how boring and outdated most puzzle artwork is. These women recognized opportunity.
Lindsey Simmonds, founder of Wander added, “But the macro reason, I hope, is that women are showing up with capital and feminine ideas in a world that has been full too long with only masculine ideas. I hope this is just a microcosm of a larger phenomenon yet unfolding.”
Take a closer look at a women-owned company taking the puzzle industry by storm and changing the world one piece at a time:
